Today at the Cambrian Teaching and Learning Innovation Hub Jeff and I discussed uses of YouTube with a small group of interested educators. During this discussion, we were able to address the main questions of participants. Options and advantages of educator produced videos was briefly discussed. However, this group of educators was primarily interested in having students create videos as coursework. There are many ways to support student video production. Some suggestions were added to this website. It will keep being added to as suggestions are brought forward. Please, if you have more ideas let me know below. As a bonus, having students create videos improves their buy-in for assignments. If shared openly the assignment is reusable!
