The presenters state that students generally like flexible assessment, but not everyone likes it. Depending on where they are in their program it may also be overwhelming.

Students in this class made some interesting choices. There was a default option for students who did not choose a weighting option. The measured differences in grades and found that groups of four did better than other sizes of groups.

Students made a choice in the first week and were unable to change their mind afterwards. Course outlines are committed by the second week in this context.
